What It Truly Means...

His Breath Upon Me?

The spirit of God has made me,

and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.

-- Job 33:4

Thank you for opening this page. It can change your life!!!

While we dwell among our on/offline business(es, to family/friends/co-workers and social media at times, shouldn't we heed to the concerns of our eternal salvation as well? So, what exactly does Salvation in Christ mean?

Why, or how, should I open my heart to Jesus Christ?

Listen, tis is the REASON for Christmas (actually, anytime!). So why was Jesus born in Bethlehem? Did you know that the meaning of Bethlehem is the 'House of Bread'?

"Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty" (John 6:25-29).

I'm amazed at the similarity also, that the "consecrated bread" was known as the 'Bread of Presence" set before God in the Tabernacle during the Old Testament era (Exodus 25:30, Leviticus 24:5-9). Can we not see it? Jesus became the world's Tabernacle!

And He loves you, for He came to this world and 'died' for YOU so that you'll have eternal life: “Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God” ~ John 1:12

Sure, some of us have become a church goer, or member somewhere -- even as I. But you see, it isn't about being religious (even the religious ones wanted to kill Jesus! See Mark 8:31 where He said so)... like us claiming to be Catholic, Methodist, Presbyterian, Baptist, Mormon -- or simply following any other denomination... The truth? No church (building), nor an organization of any sort can save you.

(Actually, no money, time, our good works/deeds, doctrinal/rituals, rules we try to follow, or sacred vows we recite, what meat/food we eat (or don't eat ) -- or anything else we try to do to 'earn salvation' can either! Yes, many work as servants of God (and we must!) but 'the works in itself' cannot save us. We cannot just do good and 'earn' salvation to get into God's Kingdom...

Even Jesus spoke of these things to His disciples, warning them that even 'religious ones' were going to kill him (Mark 8:31)

"For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit (lose) his own soul?" Mark 8:36

"For what will a man give in exchange for his soul?" Mark 8:37

"For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels." Mark 8:38

Even Jesus corrected the religious ones (such as the Pharisees) by saying "... for the sake of your tradition you have made void the word of God." Matthew 15:6

We also learn (according to Luke 23:42,43) that the thief, who was dying next to Jesus on the cross, was given Salvation (saved from eternal death) the entrance to Paradise/Heaven. All because Jesus simply looked into his heart. This thief (who didn't have the opportunity to recite a sacred vow, participate in any religious practice, engage in certain rituals, rules or duties, nor had the opportunity to get baptized), simply accepted/received Jesus (Whose Name means, 'the LORD saves') for Who He was/is).

If any of our religious practices above could 'save', then why did God the Father send His Son/Jesus to the Cross (WHO became the Lamb of God, the world's Tabernacle, see)? Won't you then allow Jesus to be your Bread of Life? He can fulfill your spiritual hunger, thirst, any longing, needs... Life that the world/religion cannot give you...

I couldn't get my mind off of a testimony given by someone who claimed they'd spent time in Hell...

I'm not sure how it happened (whether by prayer, vision, dream, or whatever), this lady revealed that she was in torture, just as the Bible describes about 'the outer darkness', called Hell. Said all of her 'reports' (sins that she'd committed) was in heap of piles all around her while in Hades. She said, not only was it the most horrendous suffering for a soul, but was the darkest and the loneliest hour that anyone could ever experience. Especially, the reports around her, became a constant reminder of all that she'd done while alive on Earth. Can you imagine... the never-ending punishment, all day and night (there is NO TIME in this eternal abyss!)... thus, being there forever... forever... and forever?!

You see, we all need Jesus Christ, Whose Blood-Cleansed Atonement cleanses (washes and forgives) us from all wrongdoing when we receive His Sacrificial Love He'd given for the world/us at the Cross (John 3:3,16). His Love is a Gift that we can freely receive upon our hearts today (see references below).

"... I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me, even if he dies, will live." ~ John 11:25

You see, through Him, we're given eternal life afterwards. I don't know about you, but I would not ever want to go through such forever-torture like the lady described above. I'd rather lay all my sinful 'reports' at the foot of Jesus' Cross to be remembered no more. By the way, because of what Jesus showed this lady, she has received Him into her heart! (Some people don't get that opportunity!)

Again, it's the 'heart' matter. We cannot save ourselves. Only is it through Jesus, can we be freed from sin's eternal death, and transformed during this life's journey...

He says, "I am the way, the truth and the life; no one can come to the Father, except through Me" (John 14:6).

(Let's be reminded too, that if we remain in sin, God's Face/His Presence cannot be upon us when we pray. Ever feel like your prayers are not getting above the ceiling? See then what King David said in Psalm 66:18 about how the LORD would not listen to him when he was in sin. Also, take a look at Isaiah 59:1,2 on how God's Face could not be present upon those who'd sinned. It isn't that He doesn't want to, it's because He can't, due to the 'sin' we bear separates Him/His Presence from us).

Can we see now why it's important to receive Jesus? Through His cleansing Blood, only God the Father can present Himself. Because Jesus/He is the Mediator (High Priest, Hebrews 4:4-16) -- between God and man -- the One, Who carries our supplication (prayers) to God the Father (see 1 Thimothy 2:5).

Anyone still having doubts about Who Jesus is, let us remember that the devil/demons even recognize WHO He is. When Jesus rebuked them to come out of a man possessed, the demons shouted...

"Have you come to destroy us? I know who You are--the Holy One of God!" (see Luke 4:33,34)

Still having doubts? Simply talk to God Himself, and He WILL show you. How can we know that? Because, He loves YOU.

So then, do you want to accept Jesus upon your heart/life today? Not so sure--yet?

Then please allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you as you read each of the below out aloud and give an answer (aloud to yourself) on what each means (says) to you...

What does this mean to you?

For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God ~ Romans 3:23

What does this mean to you?

For the wages of sin is death (hell), but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord ~ Romans 6:23

What does this mean to you?

I (Jesus) tell you the truth, unless a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God ~ John 3:3

What does this mean to you?

I (Jesus) am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me ~ John 14:6

What does this mean to you?

That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, “Everyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame.”~ Romans 10:9-11

What does this mean to you?

And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again ~ Corinthians 5:15

What does this mean to you?

Here I am! I (Jesus) stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door (heart), I will come in and eat with him, and he with me ~ Revelation 3:20

If you want to receive Jesus now, please pray...

“Heavenly Father, I have sinned against you. I want forgiveness for all my sins. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for me and rose again. Father, I give you my life to do with as you wish. I want Jesus Christ to come into my life and into my heart. This I ask in Jesus' Name; amen.”

If you've prayed that with a sincere heart, and meant it, you've been born again -- you now have eternal life in Heaven! Read God's Word (Holy Bible: NKJV, NASB, or NIV are easy reads) daily and seek a Bible-based church home and get baptised in the Name of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit (see Matthew 28:18-20) just so, not only to receive...

His Breath (Holy Spirit) to Dwell Upon (within) You...

But that you'll come to know more about God's love, able to hear His Voice and heed to His guidance in your life. Now begin your Amazing journey by telling/sharing His Love--the Gospel to others.

And don't forget!... Thank Him for saving you.
